Dicevaders Dice and Scoring Guide

Understand how dice manipulation creates more reliable scoring opportunities. Learn when to use Chrono, adjust values with Budge, and pursue matching dice combinations.

  • Chrono

A resource used to reroll dice and refresh shop offers. Rerolls cost Chrono, so timing matters more than raw luck.

  • Budge

A resource used to adjust dice values and assemble useful combinations. A single pip of Budge often completes a pair or triple.

  • Dice Matches

Pairs, triples, and quadruples activate combination-based synergies — bigger matches trigger stronger effects.

  • Monocle

The Captain's Monocle perk allows lone Base Dice to count as pairs, turning leftovers into scoring matches.

Dicevaders Commanders and Builds

Compare the 10 launch commanders and their different starting mechanics. Explore build directions centered on pairs, Kraken dice, or combined commander abilities.

  • The Captain

The Mothership generates Budge each turn and rewards scored pairs with artifact XP, supporting pair-focused builds.

  • The Core

Adds a Kraken Die that grants 10 XP to artifacts in its column when launched, feeding artifact-driven setups.

  • The Overseer

Convergence combines two commanders' abilities, with faster growth in target defense for longer, harder runs.

Dicevaders Units and Placement Guide

Learn how unit placement and commander-specific summons shape your army. Explore unit interactions that generate more dice, increase strength, or support artifact progression.

  • Unit Roster

The launch version includes 60+ units, plus additional Warped Units to discover in later chapters.

  • Apple

With Whisperer's Frugivore perk, scoring an Apple in a pair destroys it and grants 3 Mini-Dice.

  • Pawn

Stone Chisel summons a Pawn when acquired or leveled, giving the new Pawn 20 STR.

  • Worker Bee

The Apiary perk summons a Worker Bee on a random tile when a turn begins, filling empty grid space for free.

Dicevaders Artifacts and Synergies

Explore the 120 launch artifacts and the effects that connect dice matches with army growth. Compare documented artifact triggers to find combinations for your commander.

  • Meat Stick

An Uncommon artifact that gives every unit STR equal to Dice Power x 10 after its column scores.

  • Flower Pot

An Uncommon artifact that restores Honey after any triple and adds 10% Shop Rarity until the next turn.

  • Dark Tower

A Legendary artifact that scores the highest-STR unit with 1 extra Repeat after any triple.

Dicevaders Perks Guide

Compare perks that alter dice matches, resource generation, and artifact progression. Understand their conditions and trade-offs before building a run around them.

  • The Mothership

The Captain gains 1 Budge each turn; scored pairs give 10 XP to the artifact in their column.

  • Royal Jelly

Collecting Honey grants 1 Mini-Dice, and Mini-Dice can also collect Honey.

  • Broken Lens

Pairs count as triples, but Base Dice begin cracked — strong scaling with an early-game handicap.

  • Divine Touch

The Exalted triggers artifacts at Level 3 or below when they level up; Base Dice triples give all artifacts 10 XP.
